Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of ChatGPT2Word (chatgpt2word.com), including the converter, optional Pro unlock, restore flow, and related pages. By using the site you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

ChatGPT2Word is a web tool that converts Markdown (including answers from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and similar sources) into Microsoft Word .docx files in your browser. Core paste → .docx conversion does not require an account and is free forever.

Acceptable use

• Only convert content you have the right to use and export.
• Do not abuse payments, restore flows, or attempt to bypass Pro entitlements.
• Do not use the site to distribute malware or violate applicable law.
• Do not resell, sublicense, or share a single Pro unlock as a public service for others.

Free vs Pro

Single-file Markdown → Word conversion remains free. Optional Pro is a one-time unlock for Batch ZIP and brand header/footer presets (price on Pricing). Pro is a digital good delivered as site access (not a downloadable installer and not a subscription). Pro does not change the privacy model of conversion: document contents still convert in your browser.

Checkout is processed by Waffo Pancake as the payment processor and merchant of record (MoR). Paid access is tied to the checkout email; use /restore on a new browser with that email. We do not provide password accounts. Clearing cookies is not a cancellation or a refund — Restore is the supported path.

Refund policy (one-time Pro digital goods)

ChatGPT2Word Pro is sold as a one-time USD digital good at the price shown on Pricing at checkout. Once payment succeeds, Pro is delivered by unlocking Batch ZIP and brand presets for the checkout email (and the browser cookies that store that entitlement). There is no recurring charge.

Because this is digital access delivered immediately after purchase, you generally cannot return the product the way you would return a physical item. If you have already received Pro (the unlock appears on the site, or restore works for your checkout email), we typically do not refund the one-time purchase.

We will refund or restore Pro, as appropriate, when:

• You were charged for Pro but it never unlocked and Restore also fails for that checkout email.
• You were charged more than once for the same one-time Pro digital good.
• The purchase was unauthorized or clearly erroneous (we may ask Waffo to reverse it).
• Applicable consumer law requires a refund (including any cooling-off right that has not been lost because digital access already started).

We generally will not refund the one-time Pro digital good when:

• You cleared cookies, switched browsers, or lost a device — use Restore Pro with the checkout email instead.
• You no longer want Batch ZIP or brand presets after Pro was delivered.
• You expected features that are intentionally free-tier or out of scope (core conversion, share-link fetching, accounts).
• You violated these Terms (payment abuse, entitlement bypass, fraud).

How to request a refund: email hello@chatgpt2word.com from the checkout email with the subject “Pro refund”, your receipt or order reference if you have it, and a short description of the problem. We review requests and, when approved, ask Waffo (the merchant of record) to refund the original payment method. Waffo may also handle refunds, chargebacks, and buyer-portal requests under its own buyer terms.

Statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived still apply. This refund policy does not limit those rights.

Termination and consequences

You may stop using ChatGPT2Word at any time. There is no account to close for free conversion. To end a Pro entitlement (for example after a privacy deletion request), email hello@chatgpt2word.com from the checkout email. Ending Pro access after delivery is not itself a refund of the one-time digital good.

We may suspend or terminate access to Pro, restore, checkout, or (in serious cases) the site if you: abuse payments or restore; bypass or share entitlements; commit fraud; distribute malware; or otherwise violate these Terms or applicable law. Waffo may independently refuse, reverse, or terminate a payment as merchant of record.

Consequences of termination:

• Pro features (Batch ZIP and brand presets) stop working on affected browsers and emails.
• Checkout-email and visitor-cookie entitlements may be revoked or deleted.
• Restore will not return Pro for a revoked purchase.
• Refunds are not owed for termination for cause (fraud, abuse, or Terms violations).
• Free, client-side conversion may remain available unless we take the site down or block abusive traffic.
• We may retain records needed for tax, chargebacks, fraud prevention, or legal compliance, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Provisions that by nature should survive — including acceptable use, refund limits, warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, and this termination section — continue after termination.

No warranties

The service is provided as-is. Formatting fidelity depends on the Markdown you paste and browser capabilities. We do not guarantee that every fragment converts to an ideal Word construct; when something cannot be converted we aim to label it rather than silently drop it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChatGPT2Word is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill, arising from use of the converter or Pro. Our aggregate liability for a Pro purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that one-time digital good at checkout.

Not affiliated

ChatGPT2Word is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, or Microsoft. Trademarks belong to their owners. Waffo is an independent payment provider and merchant of record — not a co-author of your converted documents.

Changes

We may update these Terms when the product, pricing, or legal requirements change. The revised Terms replace the text on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes to the Pro refund policy will stay posted on this page.
